What is the basis for JR Cape working on executive search or strategy projects?
JR Cape is a retained executive search and consulting firm. We do not take assignments on contingency basis, as we value quality work over quantity. For our clients we follow a high quality result driven approach in carrying out consulting projects.

How long does an Executive Search project with JR Cape take until completion?
There is no generally applicable answer to this question, because every single client and relevant search projects have to be seen as unique factors in a complex process which requires a customized approach. However, in most cases search projects are finalized within ca. 2 months from fixation of the position and candidate requirements.

As a retained executive search firm JR Cape apply the skill-set of professional researchers and consultants throughout the process, with full dedication to a specific client's project. We use different techniques of how to find suitable candidates in the market, with direct search being our main instrument.

What are the standard commercial conditions when working with JR Cape?
* Executive Search:
Once the scope of a project, the position cornerstones and candidate requirements are determined in detail we ask for a down payment to start with the actual project work. The remainder of the retainer is due in two separate installments: one after candidate presentations, the last one after our client and the candidate will have entered an agreement.
Basis for calculation of the separate installments is a percentage of the candidate's (anticipated) annual salary package.

* Management Consulting projects:
Once the scope of a project is determined in detail we ask for a down payment to start with the project work.
The final payment will be due after project completion.

Expenses occurring during the cause of a project will be invoiced separately.
